Shed members Dennis Harll and Barry Halford built two custom designed herb planter boxes for the horses of the North Shore Riding for the Disabled.
The North Shore RDA (www.northshorerda.org) provides interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs.
They aim to enable and support disabled people to achieve good lives including meaningful participation in, and contribution to, important life activities and roles in their community.
This is naturally a cause which is closely aligned with the aims of the Hibiscus Men's Shed. A very worthy project !
